The Baha’i Community of Calgary is a local spiritual community centered on unity, service, and bringing people together. While working with FoxCamp Studios, I was asked to design a logo that would represent the community while honouring the symbolism of the Baha’i faith and its connection to Alberta. The goal was to create something meaningful, welcoming, and reflective of the nine-pointed star, an important symbol in the Baha’i faith. The final design draws inspiration from the Alberta wild rose, repeating a single petal nine times to form a circular shape. The soft, rounded forms avoid sharp edges, creating a mark that feels balanced, warm, and representative of both the community and the province it calls home.
